We don't need to travel to experience the world. Instead, we could tune into The Sound of Cities and be transported around the world through sound. Can we experience culture through sound? Do our senses feed us different experiences?

In the summer of 2017, I ventured across the USA for seven weeks to find out. As I passed through 18 different cities and 13 states, I discretely recorded authentic sounds in my surroundings that captured the feel of cities. I have cut and edited these sounds to produce a track for each city, so now you can tune in and be transported around the US.
