I can still feel the heat radiating from my face. I haven't looked in the mirror recently, but I am convinced that my face might match the colour of the red granite State Capitol building here in Austin. Despite weather forecasts predicting thunderstorms, the sun showed its might today and boy did I feel it. In thirty degree sunshine, I have basked in the sun for nine hours outside exploring the city, whether cycling besides the turquoise Lady Bird Lake, walking the shadowed trails or sunbathing at the tranquil Barton Springs Pool.
